New managing director joins Pier Solutions to spearhead newly acquired businesses

Kintore-headquartered engineering firm Pier Solutions has strengthened its energy sector offering with the appointment of Gary Gallon as managing director of its recently acquired electrical engineering businesses – V-TES and V-TES Renewables.
Mr Gallon brings extensive experience from various commercial roles including 12 years at Dron & Dickson where he worked across fieldwork and developing into internal roles, culminating in his position as engineering manager for the last four years which saw substantial growth during this period.
V-TES and V-TES Renewables electrical engineering expertise, coupled with Pier’s bespoke modular containerised solutions, will drive the teams’ continued expansion into the renewables and energy transition sector and its commitment to finding innovative, efficient and sustainable solutions for its customers.
